Week 12 is upon us and a champion is waiting to be crowned. UAlbany can clinch the NEC’s automatic bid to the NCAA FCS playoffs by winning its regular season finale against Sacred Heart. Meanwhile, Duquesne, which sits in a first-place tie with the Great Danes can clinch at least a share of the NEC crown with a win over Robert Morris in the Steel City Showdown, but needs help to overtake UAlbany for the postseason berth. Three of the four games on the Week 12 docket are rivalry matchups. In addition to the battle for bragging rights out in Pittsburgh, Monmouth and Wagner will clash in the Outer Bridge Rivalry while Bryant and Central Connecticut meet in the New England Collision. The NCAA FCS Selection Show, during which the 20-team championship bracket will be unveiled, is set for Sunday, Nov. 20 at 10:00 am on ESPNU.
