Moral victories mean absolutely nothing, but for Nicholls State, getting a moral victory against McNeese State meant everything.

Despite a 26-17 loss, the final score wasn't what Colonels coach Charlie Stubbs was interested in.

After being on the wrong side of several lopsided losses, Stubbs said he was pleased his team give itself a chance to win.
