As noted by CSJ we have 4 automatic qualifiers already locked in for the field this year (and my congratulations to them)
Norfolk State-MEAC
Georgia Southern-SoCon
Lehigh-Patriot
Sam Houston State-Southland
That leaves 6 free tickets to the dance to be decided upon this weekend
Big Sky- Montana vs. Montana State
Big South-Liberty vs. Stony Brook
CAA- Towson vs. Rhode Island, Maine vs. New Hampshire (Maine needs win and Towson loss to claim autobid)
Missouri Valley- North Dakota State vs. Western Illinois, Northern Iowa vs. Illinois State (UNI needs win and NDSU loss to claim autobid)
Northeast- Albany vs. Sacred Heart, Duquesne vs. Robert Morris (Duquesne needs win and Albany loss to claim autobid)
Ohio Valley, Tennessee Tech vs. Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky vs. Tennessee-Martin (needs win and TTU loss to claim autobid), Jacksonville State vs. Tennessee State (needs win AND TTU loss AND EKU loss to claim autobid)
Looks like we are in for a wild final weekend of the regular season

The way it should be.
Hey BCS - How exactly does a playoff lessen the importance of the regular season?

This system is still flawed (although lik emuch better than BCS) 7-4 teams from so called power conferences with down years in before 9-2 (lesser) conferences with a really good team. Not perfect but dont think 7-4 teams from the big ten are better than a 9-2 team from conf usa as example.

There won't be any deserving 9-2 teams not getting into the field this season. The only 9-2 teams not getting in have severe strength of schedule issues.

Our system is flawed for one reason - PFL doesn't get an AQ.
Duquesne had an equal chance to make the playoffs and laid an egg in Albany.

You don't think Ohio St.(6-4) or Iowa (6-4) are better than Tulsa (7-3) or Southern Miss (9-1)?

not every year......Ohio State stinks this year........all my point was is that teams from the so-called power conferences get the nod every time. There are so many good players out there that the difference isnt what is perceived. There are 30 qb in fcs better than OSU QB's this year.

Plus you never get to play those teams at home..........would of loved to play Delaware at home this year (would never happen).
