No. 8 Umass heads to No. 1 John Hopkins for NCAA quarterfinals. Just six days after making history by elminating nine-time defending national champion Syracuse in the NCAA first round......

Man, what an ass-whooping. :asswhip: :splat: :bang:

Time to start thinking about football & volleyball seasons, I guess. I guess if Nebraska
makes the CWS I might look at that for a minute too.

No shame in that guys. Hopkins is reallllly strong this year. I'm hoping UVA can knock them out in the semis and meet up with Maryland or G'town, but I'm thinking Hopkins vs. Duke for the finals.

Semis are set. Hopkins vs. UVA and Maryland vs. Duke. What was somebody saying about the ACC's reign being over? ;)

Some nice surprises this year. UMass had heck of a season, despite loss today. Duke is in the Final Four since I don't know when. Nice to see the faces change a little--Iknow UVa, MD, and JHU are not strangers to the top echelon, but it's been few years since they were at the top. More parity as seen by some of the very close scores in the quarterfinals. I hoping I can still go this weekend; but my son may have to work. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I couldn't stop watching the Georgetown - Maryland game yesterday. I hope Delaware will be back next year.

Final Four at "the Linc"? Not a bad way to spend part of the holiday weekend! :)
